Little Roots Preschool offers the following employment opportunities based on position availability and enrollment.

• Preschool Teacher
• Junior Kindergarten Teacher
• School Assistant (Aide)
• Motor Development Teacher
• Music Enrichment Teacher
• Substitute Teacher

Employment Requirements

Qualified candidates should:

• Demonstrate a love for Jesus Christ and support the mission and Guiding Values of Little Roots Preschool
• Enjoy working with young children
• Be dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Meet Idaho licensing requirements for their position
• Successfully complete a background check
• Hold current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, or obtain certification upon hire
• Provide professional and personal references

School-Year Schedule
School Year Dates for 2026-2027: August 11, 2026 – May 20, 2027

Staff training, classroom preparation, and end-of-year cleanup will take place before and after these dates.

Holidays

Little Roots Preschool follows its annual school calendar, including major holidays, Christmas Break, Spring Break, and summer months.

Programs

Preschool (3-year olds)
• Tue & Thu

Preschool (4-year olds+
• Tue, Wed, & Thu

Junior Kindergarten (Pre-K)
• Tue, Wed, & Thu

Class Sessions
• 9AM – 12PM
Typical staff hours are approximately 8:30 AM–12:30 PM, although schedules may vary depending on position and enrollment.

Employment offers will be extended based upon enrollment needs and staffing requirements.

Compensation is competitive and based on position, experience, qualifications, and responsibilities. Specific salary information will be discussed during the interview process.
